Dr. Prabath Randombage is a highly respected expert in obstetrics and gynecology, with extensive experience and dedication to women’s health at Nara Wellness. He holds an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Sri Lanka, where he earned prestigious accolades such as the Professor Henry Nanayakkara Gold Medal, the Dr. Nalin Rodrigo Gold Medal, and the SLCOG Award for Best Performance. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran Young Gynaecologists Award. Dr. Randombage furthered his qualifications with an MRCOG from the UK, a GESEA Diploma in Advanced Operative Endoscopy in Gynaecology from France, and fellowships in day care gynecological endoscopy from India and cosmetic gynecology from Dubai.

Currently, Dr. Randombage serves as a Senior Lecturer and Consultant at the University of Kelaniya’s Faculty of Medicine and the Teaching Hospital in Ragama. His past roles include consultancy positions at Base Hospitals in Kinniya and Medirigiriya. He is a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology under the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) and actively participates in various professional bodies, including the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SLCOG) and the Perinatal Society of Sri Lanka.

Dr. Randombage has an extensive research background, focusing on minimal access gynecology and medical education, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has presented his research at national and international conferences, earning recognition for his contributions. With a strong commitment to education, Dr. Randombage has been involved in training and assessing both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Sri Lanka and the UK, contributing as a resource person in simulation training programs.

He holds memberships in the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA), the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), and the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE). His diverse expertise and dedication make him a valuable asset to women’s healthcare at Nara Wellness.
